The Assistant Director for Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) and Operations is responsible for assisting in the administration and organization of a comprehensive student engagement program. The Assistant Director r is responsible for the management and oversight of the Collegiate Link program.
You are:
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form required
Able to work with academic departments and other student support service areas required
Able to work effectively with a diverse student population required
Able to multitask and manage different projects required
Able to work occasional nights and weekends required
Able to work in a “team orientated” office
You will:
You need:
Master’s degree in higher education, student development or similar field
2+ years professional experience in student affairs, student engagement or similar field
Knowledge of contemporary higher education principles, practices, and procedures
Understanding of Microsoft 365 products required
Understanding of web-based higher education software such as Anthology/Campus Labs Engage and Baseline, Slate, and Banner preferred
Understanding of learning management software such as Canvas preferred
Understanding of web-based event manage software such as EMS, Social Tables, and Eventbrite preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license
