The College of Business and Digital Innovation at the University of New Haven – Riyadh (NHU-Riyadh) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in Economics, beginning January 2027. NHU-Riyadh is the first international branch campus to have received approval in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and opened its doors. The college welcomed its first students at Misk City, Riyadh, in August 2026 and is now building the faculty for its next phase of growth. The position combines teaching, service and applied research, with the opportunity to shape a new business curriculum in its formative years. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to teaching excellence and a student-centered approach. Compensation, which includes salary and any potential allowances, will be established in accordance with Saudi Arabian compensation framework in conjunction with the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and position.
Any successful candidate for these roles will be processed, onboarded, and deployed to Riyadh through an outsourcing human resources company contracted by the University of New Haven specifically for this process. All academic duties will be supervised by New Haven University's administrative staff. Successful candidates will be required to obtain, and appropriately maintain, a Saudi Arabia Visa and related Work Authorizations through the contracted human resources outsourcing company.
